Peter Wislocki’s architectural team was appointed by Danish developers TK to design a retail-anchored mixed-use development on a 10,000 sqm site within the larger masterplan for the regeneration of Gdańsk’s historic Lenin shipyards, known internationally as the birthplace of Solidarity and the post-communist period. The scheme includes a hypermarket, retail mall, a 4-star hotel, offices and residential accommodation, with rooftop and basement parking.
Architectural solutions that deliver
Mindful of the historic, cultural and political significance of the site, the design is conceived of as a backdrop to the world famous Three Crosses monument and former shipyard entrance gate. The design was also to be a gateway to Synergia 99’s wider masterplan, catalysing further investment by other local and international developers, within Romuald Loegler’s wider masterplan.
