Peter Wislocki’s role was to secure a place on an invited shortlist of international signature designers, to interface with a client team including Arup alongside a range of leading specialist consultants, and to coordinate the work of a diverse team of architects based in London, Edinburgh and Russia.
Architectural solutions that deliver
Peter’s team saw off the challenges of OMA/Rem Koolhaas, Jean Nouvel, Fuksas, Herzog & de Meuron and Daniel Libeskind developing a design which combined the most innovative technological, spatial and functional concepts with a strong sense of context, cultural meaning and social purpose. The proposed 70-storey tower stands as the focal point of a wider 2 billion Euro mixed-use investment.
Competition win against shortlisted signature architects including Nouvel, Fuksas, Liebskind, OMA and Herzog & de Meuron.
